About Second Opinions and Consultations:

Dr. Keys has taught ophthalmic surgery for many years at both Children’s National Medical Center, and Georgetown University Hospital. He was the first director of the Pediatric Eye Service at Georgetown University Hospital. Years of teaching, coupled with an active office practice, have provided a wealth of experience. If you are seeking a consultation or independent second opinion, we can keep the visit confidential, or at your direction, discuss the situation with the previous ophthalmologist. We can assist you in making plans for future care. Dr. Keys has contacts with leaders in various fields of ophthalmology throughout the country and can make appropriate referrals. Consultations and second opinions for adult patients are limited to disorders of ocular motility.
